Buffalo Race

Makepung or Bull Race, This attraction is only found in the western part of Bali. Mekepung means romp, the inspiration is derived from the activity of rice farmers during of processing the fields or farmland before planted with rice paddy Rice fields to be in a plow and will pull up by two buffalos. During the event of these buffaloes will wearing a necklace or Gongseng/ large bell made from wood, when a plow the field and pull up by the buffalos, Gonseng will sounded like a music.
